Our children were given the daunting task of naming him and after much deliberation and of course some fairly serious arguing the four of them ended up agreeing on Tyson.     Tyson arrived in Manchester NH on time and in extremely good condition. After getting him out of the airport my wife Rachel removed him from his crate and gave him some food and water then promptly put him on her lap for the two hour ride home. Tyson immediately went to sleep on her lap and woke from time to time to lick her face and nuzzle with her. This may sound cute to some but for me being a fairly experienced dog owner it is much deeper than just cuteness. The willingness of this eight week old puppy away from his littermates and mother for the very first time to be totally comfortable and submissive to a total stranger is a testitmate to your family's puppy socialization program.     After getting our puppy home we introduced him to our elderly German Shepherd dog and of course our very busy children and he immediately began to move about our home investigating his new surroundings with very little apprehension of any kind. Now that we have had him for almost a week he lives with our entire family in complete harmony and has definitely changed our life for the bettter. He is already about seventy percent housetrained and we are dilligently working on general manners and bring absolutely everywhere with us and everyone says the same type of things about him (ie: we have never seen such a beautiful rottweiler).     We are self employed and our business like many others across the country has been affected by the current economic slowdown that we are currently experiencing, so for us to pay close to four thousand dollars on a puppy was a very serious consideration. We looked at other rottweiler breeders around the country where we could have gotten a puppy at a substancially lower cost. We ended up back at the Redwood Krest site each and every time. We also spoke with you many times on the telephone and each time we were spoken to with respect and honesty, when we left a message a return call was made each time in a prompt timeframe and this service along with all of the information on your site is what ultimately led us to our decision to purchase a puppy from you. Kelly and I are very pleased with what he is showing us. He is excellent with kids and other people (unreal actually for a little guy). His social skills with other dogs could not be better also. He has loads of confidence, sometimes too much! House breaking him has been fairly successful, and we have been paying very close attention to his needs so I don't anticipate anything but progress there. It's clear that he was well cared for before he was shipped to us. As far as working drives its a little early but he does have a very high prey/chase drive. He did not like to retrieve at all early but learned quickly that the game is over if he does not bring the ball back:) I have started playing on a tug with him and find his grip a little weak and short right now. I'm working on releasing after he counters deeper to teach him a correct bite. His obedience is awesome already-the fastest learning pup I have owned. His intelligence is very, very high and I can see him having excellent skills on the field. I'll update you when he hits 6 months and I take him out to a club to do some training. I really want to thank you for spending time with me on email and the phone when I was looking for a new dog. I started my search when I was in Iraq and when I got home he was shipped to me as soon as I was ready for him. Zar　is the perfect dog for me. He loves to play and chase balls and play tug of war. After 4 consecutive combat tours of Iraq, I am currently in treatment for PTSD　and a brain injury I sustained from a roadside bomb. You will be glad to know that my doctor has written a letter stating that Zar　should be considered my service dog and I am going through the process to get him certified. He will be trained to get my attention when I am getting angry or anxious, and lead me out of crowds if I dont　feel comfortable. We named him Roscoe, after his dad, Wasko. Well, now, he is not so little, about 37 pounds and he amazes us every day!  We have raised dogs, from pit bulls to pomeranians and we have NEVER met a puppy that is so easy to train and displays such a desire to communicate and please. We already were parents to two little pomeranians, Jackson and Juicy and were concerned about them getting along. Roscoe has such a nice disposition, really a chill dog. He has alot of love for our family members, sooooooo affectionate and totally respects the wishes of Jackson and Juicy. As a matter of fact, at night when its time to go to bed, Juicy chooses to sleep with Roscoe, leaving Jackson alone. However there are no hard feelings, enclosed is a picture of Roscoe hanging with Jackson in the backyard. We will keep you posted on Roscoe's progress. We are so happy he has come into our lives and we really would like to thank you for all the joy he has brought to our home. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful dog.  A little more than a year ago I called you looking for a Rottweiler.  I had done a lot of research and had not decided on a breeder. I called you and explained  that I wanted a Rottweiler but I was most interested in temperament.  I have an eight year old daughter, Makayla, and I wanted a dog that could become a member of our family as well as provide security.  I have trained Labradors in the past but I had absolutely no experience with Rottweilers. You must have spent two hours on the phone with me explaining the breed and the type of dog I needed.  We ended our conversation with you telling me that it may take a year but when you had one that fits our needs you would let me know. A few months later you notified me you had one that matched my needs.  She was one of Freya’s puppies born on November 19th 2007, you named her Akira, we call her Lily.  I can not tell you how wonderful she is.  She is everything you promised and more. Her temperament is outstanding, she is strong yet loving.  She is vigilant on her patrol of our yard and is not afraid to stand her ground with anything that enters her area.  She is as gentle as can be with my eight year old and has taken it upon her self to not let her out of her sight.  She is intelligent beyond belief. I think she learned her basic commands in about a week and after that we just practice.  Her look is incredible everywhere she goes someone compliments her.  Even my Veterinarian said she is one of the best looking Rottweilers he has ever seen.  Everyone asks where I got her. With the looks aside it is her temperament that I love the most and that is exactly what I asked you for, so thank you.  I have owned several dogs and she is unique in her own right.  With all the sub standard breeders out there, it is scary when you set out to find a good dog.  You have my business from now on and I am going to recommend your dogs to anyone in the market for a Rottweiler.  Thank you again for the dog you provided us and for continuing a breed that lives up to its name as a great family dog.

 I wanted to write you this letter and thank for our wonderful new puppy Redwood Krest’s Mamba. She’s a wonderful girl with tremendous drive and the looks to go along with it. I went without a Rottweiler in my family for a little over a year and did not realize how much I have missed the breed until I received Mamba from you. It did not take me long to realize why the dogs you breed do so well in the show ring and in the working field. At 5 months old she’s already showing promise in the training field and I look forward to the show ring this spring.  

I could write about why everyone should buy a Redwood Krest Rottweiler, however, I am a big believer in results and proof.
