June 21 , 2008 :

Congratulations to Wasko vom Mariannenthal II for Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a major at the Columbia River Rottweiler Club Specialty under breeder/judge Mr. Joe Hedl and Reserve Winners Dog to a major under breeder/judge Mrs. Catherine Thompson at the 2nd Columbia River Rottweiler Club Specialty later that afternoon. This was Wasko's very first time shown in the AKC ring (he's never even been to a handling class and his handler, Debbie Cornell-Charneski got him ringside just 5 minutes before the show!) We are very proud of our boy and the exceptional job his friend Debbie did with him in such a short amount of time.

In addition to being AKC major pointed his very first time shown, Wasko is 10x V1 rated (3x from the Youth classes) and 7x Sieger (he won the Sieger title every time he's been shown as an adult) all under the age of 3!!

Redwood Krest's Xamos was V1 in the Open class and Reserve ARV Championship point winner. Redwood Krest's Britta placed VP2 in the 4-6 month female class at her very first show! We are please to announce that Redwood Krest's Ava gave birth to 9 beautiful puppies on Thursday. She is an excellent mother and the puppies are all doing really well. The sire of this litter is Hero von der Hassberghvhen. We are very excited about this breeding, we think this is might just be Hero's best litter so far. The heads are unbelievable, we are beyond pleased. Hero has been crossing very well with our Mambo line females which is why we selected him for Ava (Ava is a Mambo granddaughter on her father line). This is the first time we've bred Hero to a Balou great-granddaughter (Ava is a Balou great granddaughter on her mother line) so we're very excited.

Congratulations to Redwood Krest's Enchantress for placing 4th (out of 21 females) in the combined 6-9 month and 9-12 month puppy bitch class at the Terry-All Kennel Club in Brighton, CO, under Judge Ms. Marylou Harris. And to Redwood Krest's Frodo for placing 4th in the 6-9 month puppy dog sweepstakes class at the Mile High Rottweiler Club Specialty, in Brighton, CO, under Judge Mr. Richard McKinney. Both puppies were handled by Thom Woodward and Teresa Bradley and owned by Marion Lent.

Axel vom Calibra went V1 in the working class at the USRC show in Lathrop, CA under FCI Judge Roger Vandereyken. This was Axel's first time showing in the adult class. Ursa vom Wachberg also won the working class at this show.

Diva vom Rectorrebel finished SG3 in the 18-24 month class at the ARV Nationals in North Carolina. Diva has been shown successfully all over the world. She placed V3 at the World Show in Amsterdam in July 2002. Diva is proudly owned by Lisa Bowman, Dasil Mar Rottweilers.

Joeri and Attila vom Drachenfels placed 3rd at the USA NW Regionals in Oregon . Only 4 out of 10 SchH III dogs passed at this trial.

Joeri passed the very elite and extremely difficult 2002 ADRK Fall Körung in Germany with two dogs that he trained and handled!! Attila vom Drachenfels was the best overall male -- he demonstrated his super working drive and amazing fight drive. Queen von Hohegeiss was the best overall female at the Körung . Queen is the ONLY Dt.VDH CH female with a Körung in the US!!! Thanks to James Trucks for sending us this excellent female for training and titling.

We are very proud of the fact that Joeri trained and titled 2 of the 8 dogs that passed the Körung (17 dogs were entered). Joeri is the first non-German handler to compete at the revised Körung with two dogs that passed!!!!

Queen von Hohegeiss and Lira vom Haus Milan compete at the 2002 Luxembourg Championships. Lira is SGI in the 9-12month class; Queen is V3 in the Siegerin class. Lira is bred and owned by Darren Taylor, vom Haus Milan. Both Queen and Lira were shown by Joeri.

August 24-25, 2002
Queen von Hohegeiss and Lira vom Haus Milan compete at the 2002 ADRK Klubschau. Queen is V rated in the Siegerin class, Lira is VP rated in 9-12 month class. Both dogs were handled by Joeri.
